GUEST BOOK

Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know we haven't seen each other in years, but my mom and dad always spoke so kindly of your dear mom. They both died in 2012 and I am sure they were there to greet your mom! Prayers for you and your family. Patty Fennell Cannady

My deepest condolences to the family of Lillian Anderson Hood. Although I did not know her personally, I feel that she was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. May the family draw comfort from the promise at Isaiah 25:8 'He will swallow up death forever. And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.'

- Annie Thomas, Snellville, GA

John and family; I am sorry to hear of Lillian's passing. She was a wonderful person, and a dear friend to the McGrady family for many years. She will always be rememeberd in the hearts of those who knew her.

Marilyn, We lost my Mom back in 2012 at 95 years young. As we look back let us remember the good times

John & Marilynn, I'm so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. She was an extraordinary person & will be surly missed. I always thought your Mother as one of four matriarchs of Althea Pkwy. If my Mother wasn’t around to guide me through an issue, your Mother surely was. Several times I remember stopping by her house when I was young, where she graciously asked me in. Having no idea what I was wanting, we always ended up in the den where we watched TV and talked. I’m not sure what we spoke of but I do remember her laughing, her listening, & her actually caring about what I was saying. Every time I saw her I can remember the smile on her face, the gleam in her eyes, and can still hear the kind words she always spoke. As we all know, she always was thinking of others. But most importantly, there was never a moment she made me feel I was not a member of your family, and for that I am proud to say I knew her as I did and she will be sorely missed! Love to you and family. Jack

The lovely Mrs. Hood......when we dragged her to a delightful island, not early in the day, quite latter evening and she put up with all of us with nary a look at her watch as to 'time to go home.' The time the four of us took her to dinner here in Atlanta. and she was like 'one of the girls'. She never 'missed a beat.' Actually, she contributed quite a few 'beats' !!!!!. The love between her and Marilynn could take your breath away. A love that burned fiercely right to the end. Marilynn, you are, by far, the best daughter I have ever met. You are all that any mother would love to have as a daughter. Know that as long as you breathe, your mother will be with you. Lv u Joan
